Some wedding days just feel like they belong in a romance movie.
From the moment I arrived at Lakewold Gardens, I knew this was going to be one of those days.
Tucked away in Lakewood, Washington, Lakewold Gardens feels like a hidden gem. Between the historic estate, winding garden paths, and beautiful old trees, every corner feels a little bit magical.
But what made this wedding so special wasn’t just the venue.
It was the way these two looked at each other.
The way they couldn’t stop smiling.
The way they reached for each other’s hands whenever they were close.
Those little moments are always my favorite.
The bride spent the morning getting ready inside the estate surrounded by her favorite people. There were happy tears, laughter, and that beautiful mix of excitement and nerves that always seems to fill the air before a ceremony.
One of my favorite moments was watching her pause for just a second before walking down the aisle. Taking it all in. Knowing that in just a few moments she would be marrying her best friend.
And honestly? The day only got sweeter from there.
As the sun filtered through the gardens, guests gathered to witness one of the most heartfelt ceremonies. Surrounded by the people who love them most, they exchanged vows and officially began their next chapter together.
Afterward, we wandered through the gardens for portraits, and these two made my job incredibly easy. Every glance, every laugh, every quiet moment felt genuine and completely them.
The kind of photos that don’t need much posing because the connection is already there.

The reception felt warm, joyful, and full of love. There were heartfelt toasts, happy tears, cake cutting, dancing, and so many moments that reminded everyone exactly why they were thereto celebrate two people who are deeply loved.
